He has distinguished himself with massive bronze figure sculptures of famous Chinese leaders and distinuished individuals in China and around the world and sculpted stone portraits of the same. He has been been teaching for over 40 years and several hundred of his best works, consisting of different styles are exhibited in the Cao Chong en Sculpture Garden in the Guangdong Province of China. He has had many exhibitions and is well respected around the world

In November 2005, a bronze Bruce Lee sculpture over 2.5 metres high and weighing 600 kilograms by Cao Chong en was unveiled at the Avenue of The Stars on the harbour-front in Kowloon in Hong Kong.
