Olivia Zeng was born in 1998 in Canada. Her father, Xiangming Zeng, is a well-known artist with two paintings in the Permanent Collection of the National Gallery of China.

Olivia started to learn how to draw when she was 4 years old. When Olivia was 8 years old, she was identified as a superbly gifted child in the school district.
